Winton Churchill writing on financial freedom...

Richard Branson (among others) famously said, “Time is the new money.”

And once you gain control of your time you’ll discover something far more important…

It’s a new-found rhythm, one that guides and nourishes you in all the best ways possible.

Imagine owning your choices and not having to surrender to a path other than your own.

It’s a simple concept on the surface but has many deep layers.

For me, time flexibility turning into a rhythm was much more powerful than I thought it was.

On a recent trip to Asia, it allowed me weave in quality time with my oldest daughter who lives in China and teaches English.

Instead of dad showing up for three or four days and disrupting her life completely, I could work during the day and then meet her for dinner or do something special on the weekend…a much more natural way to enjoy the family.

Similarly, I spent time with my youngest daughter between business activities in Los Angeles.

Another time, I combined business and social activities in Ireland, having the time and the space to sit long enough to absorb the local culture, meet new friends, and see the world through their eyes.

And before that I had the opportunity to step into the cockpit of a flight simulator in Miami for two hours and fly a Boeing.

With an online income you can earn from anywhere you happen to be.

The first time you realize this, you connect dots in your brain and think, “Wow I can do this!”

It doesn’t matter how humble the beginnings are, the first time you earn money for taking on an online assignment – that you can do anywhere – it’s almost like an electrical jolt.

It’s like the novice bike rider who squeaks out those first few yards off the training wheels… the brain remembers the joy of the ride and how everything feels in balance.

Every time you do an online assignment and get paid it’s expanding your sense of what’s possible.

I guarantee your first few assignments will be filled with the joy of anticipation…and the fear of “What if I screw this up!”

As you continue the fear turns to confidence and the income increases…but most importantly you begin to see the way out as part of the puzzle comes together.

Importantly, as you mature in your freelancing career, you gain more time flexibility.

So if you are looking for a practical path to begin the transition to a life where you are calling the shots, freelancing should be at the top of your list.

Done correctly, you’ll and have the time, income, and rhythm you want.

And you’ll create a world that can become saner and more nourishing than the one you live in now.
